I will look into your solutions when I get home from work today. When I hooked up the drive as a secondary drive on my new computer it automatically ran an extensive disk check and seemed to correct a lot of corrupt files. It was a retail copy of Windows, but I will try to put it back into the old computer and see if the disk check did anything. Thanks for the quick responses.
